I saw so many of my friends dish about the show during the holiday break, that I decided to give it a go last week. The second I watched the first season , I fell in love with the characters, but more so the fashion. The looks reminded me of someone Sex and the City, and then I figured out why. Darren Star created the show and Patricia Field is the costume designer.

I have a theory that this look is so awful that it could only be produced if Cher Horowitz's virtual wardrobe customizer short-circuited and decided to take its revenge out on all of humanity. In fact, many SIC fans say the plotlines have been stolen from the iconic 90's show but there's bound to be a similarity as it's created by Darren Star.

Plus, since they are black and white, they match her shorts and jacket and are neutral enough that the shirt is still able to stand out.
